ISO standard

Support our work to develop the ISO standard for diversity management.

From 2016 to 2018, Seema founder Loveleen Rihel Brenna led the work to develop the world's first management system standard for diversity (NS11201). The committee consisted of a cross-section of the Norwegian business, voluntary and public sectors. The standard was published in 2018. Since then, Seema has run courses and skills development for more than 500 managers and key personnel with focus on how to work purposefully and effectively with diversity management in their own organisation.

In 2024, we received notification that ISO wanted to further develop the Norwegian standard into an international ISO standard for diversity management (ISO 37401). The aim is to provide both small and large organisations with an effective framework to succeed with diversity and value creation. The committee is chaired by Seema's CEO, Manav Rihel Kumar, and consists of representatives from over 20 countries across the continents.

The work on the ISO standard is voluntary, and Seema must find the time and resources to drive the work forward. If your organisation would like to support our work, either through a gift or sponsorship, please contact us.
